How does it works?

  • The NX-Vape detector uses a laser to detect particulates and advanced sensors combined with AI-driven analysis to detect vape, smoke and aerosols in real time.

  • When vape is detected in a 2.5 metre radius an alert is sent via email, text or the NX-VAPE portal. You can also receive alerts via a screen pop-up on selected laptops.

  • Units can be connected via ethernet PoE or wi-fi and can be powered by 12v DC.

  • Units can be set to INCOGNITO mode for discreet operation or can be configured to sound an alarm on detection.

  • Alertex Vape can be used in conjunction with visual verification such as CCTV allowing quick review of video footage from moments before and after the alarm.  For schools in particular this helps link environmental sensor data with visual evidence for enforcement or review purposes.

  • Units are supplied in vandal proof enclosures built from high strength acetal.  To prevent unauthorised opening of the enclosure, units are fitted with anti-tamper detection.
