This new integration utilizes Luminite’s new MHConverter software which converts any alert sent in SMTP to a HTTP protocol allowing users of Luminite’s Genesis PIR detectors to receive alarm and tamper alerts via the Digifort platform. Digifort uses the HTTP GET method of communication between clients and servers ensuring the delivery of any alarm, tamper or status alerts are quick and straightforward.
Available in 13 languages and used in over 100 countries, this new compatibility will increase the scope of Genesis detectors considerably. Critically, the Digifort system is scalable and is offered in four different editions, with features and support for any size installation. Genesis detectors have an unrivalled reputation for reliable, robust external perimeter detection and are used extensively by installers. A number of new features have been added to both the Genesis 1 and Genesis 2 models.
The MHConverter software is available to download free from the Luminite website.
Graham Creek, Managing Director of Luminite Electronics commented ‘We are delighted to be able to offer this new integration with Digifort and are confident that it will benefit installers and end users.
