Alertex is a versatile wireless critical alert system which provides a clear warning to an event requiring action such as lockdown in schools or fire on a construction site. The Alertex IP Bridge has been designed to connect to a local area network via Ethernet or Wi-Fi allowing the system to be monitored from one central location. The Bridge allows users to see which Alertex units have been activated, reset the system, receive alerts on missed calls and low battery, and notify key personnel of events by email or text so that the appropriate action can be taken.

The IP Bridge can be powered with a 5v power supply or via Power over Ethernet (PoE). The IP bridge can be quickly configured over Bluetooth using a mobile phone, providing easy installation for the installer. Simply find the Luminite Alertex Hub from the list of nearby Bluetooth devices and follow the instructions provided.

Once set up, the Alertex system can be monitored and tested by the installer using a web browser. The IP Bridge has a wireless range of up to 1km line of sight, which can be extended using an external aerial for difficult sites. Up to 64 various Alertex units can be programmed to transmit events to one IP Bridge, and software updates can be administered remotely. The IP Bridge is IP66 weather rated for outdoor use.
